HAK Mürzzuschlag is embracing innovation with its new subject “Life and Future Skills”, empowering students with creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication. Through the new “Future Lab” and participation in the Erasmus+ project AI.Proof, the school promotes responsible and forward-thinking use of technology and artificial intelligence.
As the region’s business school, HAK Mürzzuschlag always strives to incorporate new teaching content into its lessons. Exciting developments are currently taking place in the digital world. Artificial intelligence has found its way into everyone’s lives. “As a school, we need to keep up to date with the latest developments, which is why we will be offering a new subject called ‘Life and future skills’ from the next school year. “In addition to topics related to digitalization, this subject focuses primarily on teaching skills that will enable students to lead successful and happy lives,” explains Erich Leitenbauer, director of HAK Mürzzuschlag. The course is based on the model of key future skills: creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication.
For this purpose, the school has set up its own classroom called “Future Lab,” where students have access to a wide variety of technical equipment, such as camera drones, VR glasses, and 360-degree cameras.
In this context, HAK Mürzzuschlag is also participating in an Erasmus+ project entitled AI.Proof, which focuses on the responsible use of artificial intelligence.
